Gracia Work Center! I study marketing and Spanish at the University of Georgia. Due to an extreme case of wanderlust, I am now spending three months in Spain. I spent the first half studying business Spanish and Spanish culture in Sevilla. Now I am very excited to step out of the classroom and into real world experience in Barcelona!
Gracia Work Center is the optimal environment to inspire a young intern! All the coworking professionals exude creativity. Through collaboration and productivity, they truly embody what it means to be coworking. My internship will involve social media marketing projects and expanding the GWC brand online. I am grateful to work alongside Cristina and learn from her guidance.
Back in the states, I am a competitive equestrian. Here, without horses to keep me busy, I enjoy spending my free time running along Barceloneta beach and eating big bowls of Gazpacho (in that order). Barcelona is a culturally diverse city with a multitude of sights and activities. I cannot wait to see and do it all! Look out for future blog posts describing my experiences!
Stepping out of my comfort zone to gain professional work experience in a foreign country will not be easy, but I look forward to the challenge.
